Renowned peer-to-peer reviewer G2 Crowd revealed some groundbreaking results in their latest User Satisfaction report, with Acumatica Cloud ERP significantly outranking Microsoft Dynamics.
The rapid rise in cloud computing has had a domino effect on how organisations operate and grow over the last decade, essentially revolutionising the way the world does and thinks about business. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) powerhouse Acumatica has carved out a significant chunk of market share in recent years, primarily as a result of its unwavering commitment to building strong customer relationships. This approach has paid industry dividends, with the provider gaining recognition from users all over the globe in G2 Crowd’s latest review.
A relative newcomer to the market, Acumatica opened its doors in 2008 and has shown promising growth over the last decade or so. Acumatica’s apps run as .NET managed code on its custom-built platform, xRP. The report draws on feedback from no fewer than 732,600 verified users to get a 360-degree, crystal-clear picture of the software offered by various vendors operating in the market today, including Acumatica, MS Dynamics, Sage Intacct, and NetSuite. Each vendor is assessed based on the following categories:
- Ease of doing business
- Ease of use
- Quality of support
- Meeting requirements
- Ease of administration
- Ease of setup
- Future development of the product
Acumatica commanded the highest possible score across each of the seven categories, leading the way by at least 10% in multiple areas. An impressive number of reviews also commented positively on the estimated ROI and time to go-live when implementing Acumatica.

When it came to Microsoft’s legacy products, as well as Dynamics 365, Acumatica smashed the competition across the board. Dynamics 365 Business Central is, however, the closest to Acumatica in terms of its features, despite differing across areas such as pricing, deployment, licensing, system access, and data export capabilities.
